Chocolate Covered Popcorn

This is a delightful dish that I thought of while making Lemon Popcorn.  We love chocolate [who doesn't]  and we ALWAYS have Almond Bark in our home! This is a hit for any and all!


Here is what you need from bottom to top!



  • 1/2c. Kernels
  • 1-2 tbsp Oil [I used Lemon Oil]
  • 4oz or 4 blocks off your almond bark of Chocolate
  • 1/2tbsp vegetable oil [can NOT be any other oil nor butter]
Heat your medium sized pot. Add 1 tablespoon oil and 1/4c kernels. Shake vigorously until the last kernel is heard popping. Move to a cooking sheet. Repeat. Move this batch also to the cooking sheet. Melt Chocolate and add vegetable oil, mix. Pour over popcorn. Butter or oil your hands [rings off ladies :)] mix it up and transfer to a long sheet of wax paper. Let it harden. Place in bowl and grab a glass of milk and a good movie~ ENJOY!
